English Language Proficiency
& Access To Programs

For people who speak English as a second or additional language, their English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills often need to be at certain levels to access various programs. Language Assessment Centres/CLARS Centres conduct standardized English assessments that determine the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) levels of their clients. The project team has created a handy chart that shows the range of minimum CLB levels required to enter specific programs.
